Q. What type of claims can you assess?
A. We can Audit unsecured loans, secured loans, credit cards, car finance and some mortgages

Q. What does the £250 Audit Fee cover?
A. Your £250 and £150 for subsequent claims covers our initial processing, including document requests from your lender if necessary and our comprehensive Audit by our Solicitors and Barristers.

Q. Should I contact my creditors to discuss my claim?
A.No, Legalxperts and our panel of solicitors will communicate with your lenders. If a lender attempts to contact you refer them to the solicitor who is acting on your behalf or Legalxperts.

Q. Can I claim if I am in a Debt Management plan or in an IVA?
A. Yes, we can still claim for compensation even if you are in Debt Management or an IVA.

Q. I dont have my paper-work, will I still be able to claim?
A.To effectively and efficiently process your compensation claim, Legalxperts will require original paperwork, sourced from the relevant lender. For this reason, a claim can be pursued, even if you possess none of the paperwork relating to your agreement

Q. Should I continue making my monthly payments?
A.Yes, you should continue to keep up to date with your payment until we or one of our panel of solicitors advised you otherwise

Q.Will I be able to receive a refund of some or all my or all my previous loan repayments?
A. If you have been mis-sold a payment protection policy then you are likely to receive compensation With unenforceable credit agreements your obligation to repay the outstanding debt is removed. In such circumstances your are not likely to receive additional compensation.

Q. Will I be responsible for solicitor costs?
A. Legalxperts employs a completely transparent cost structure. There are no hidden fees or supplementary charges and all our panel of solicitors’ will work on a “NO WIN NO FEES” basis

Q. Do you have a specialist team of solicitors to process my claim?
A. Yes, we have a panel of experienced solicitors across the UK who will handle your claim on a “No Win No Fee Basis” once your claim has passed our auditing procedure and in most cases has been approved by a Barrister

Q. Will this damage my credit rating?
A .Legalxperts will do everything to protect your credit rating and it is unlawful for your lender to enter anything adverse whilst the dispute continues. Your bank must give you 28 days notice if they intend to enter any adverse credit comments. You must advise your lawyers if this happens so that they can apply for an injunction.

Q. What will happen if there are no grounds to challenge my agreement?
A.If your claim to get your agreement declared unenforceable for the loan or credit card is not successful, then under the No Win No Fee Agreement you will not be liable for any costs. You will however have to continue to repay your loan / credit card as normal.
Legalxperts will only pursue cases that our solicitors and Barristers believe offer a 90% success rate or greater.

Q. Can I claim against any Credit Agreement?
A. If the amount is less than £25,000 and the agreement was taken out before April 2007 then the answer is yes, we can audit any agreement to establish if the Credit Agreement that is governed by the Consumer Credit Act is unenforceable.

Q. Can I still use my card?
A. We advise you stop using your card and maintain your payments when the process begins

Q. Do I have to use Legalxperts?
A. You could try and deal with the creditors yourself or use alternative schemes. However it is unlikely your creditor will settle without the threat of legal action, which can be very costly
